I’ve been making this recipe a lot leading up to Easter and although Easter was yesterday I think we can still get away with making these for another week yet! The recipe is really simple and I think they make a nice treat for the occasion.
200g milk chocolate (I think Cadbury’s is best)
85g shredded wheat
2 x 100g bags mini eggs
Okay let’s go! Melt the chocolate in a small pan on a low heat (keep stirring it, you don’t want burnt chocolate!)
Crush the shredded wheat in a large bowl, you can use your hands or a wooden spoon for this.
Stir in the melted chocolate making sure all the shredded wheat is covered and there is no chocolate left in the bottom.
Place into cupcake cases and put the mini eggs on top, i put three on each but you can do whatever you want with yours!
